LM Compliance Services was set up early in 2024 by Lauren McAtee. Lauren started her career in the Transport Industry as a DVSA Traffic Examiner, conducting roadside enforcement checks and carrying out operator audits and investigations and presenting these in court or at the Office of the Traffic Commissioner. Lauren enjoyed the work with both drivers and operators, particularly during roadside checks and audits where support, guidance and advice was provided to enable the driver, operator or transport manager to succeed in their role and progress in their career. Lauren made the decision to obtain the Road Haulage Transport Manager CPC which then allowed her to seek a move into the transport industry as a Transport Manager. Lauren has been the nominated Transport Manager on a number of Operator Licences since this time and has progressed her own career within the industry, most recently acting as the Fleet Manager (and nominated TM) for a medium sized operator in the utilities sector where in April 2024, she was awarded Highly Commended at the Great British Fleet Event in the category of Fleet Manager Superstar, for her work with this operator. Lauren found that for transport managers, fleet managers and fleet professionals in general, working in a constantly changing and challenging environment, there is a real need for support to be available to assist them in conducting their role . This led to LM Compliance Services LTD being started, with the company set to offer the much needed support service to fleet professionals and operators in ensuring compliance and safety are a key focus and in providing auditing and other services to allow companies to thrive. 

 

The aim of the business is to allow businesses to gain support, guidance and direction in relation to all aspects of compliance. The company was founded with a firm background in the road transport and utilities industry and all aspects of compliance associated, however, subsequent work and qualifications currently being obtained mean that further support by way of auditing for ISO accreditation and other recognised accreditors, will soon be available.
